Wordpress stops posting, get sent to the front page.

I've been having problems with my Wordpress installation, whenever I go to post something to my blog, when I hit Publish, it sends me to my front page. Any reason why?

I've tried upgrading it (manually, since Fantastico is down on server 1) and it's still doing it.

Any advice?

Hmm, the first thing that comes to mind is the .htaccess file.

Have you created custom permalinks? Are you using WP's generated rewrite rules, or are other rules conflicting with WP's rewrite rules?

This is the WP-generated .htaccess code:

If not, have you installed WP on another directory [e.g. "/wordpress"] but have your blog on the index page? A friend had a similar problem, at one point: he had his blog installed on a separate directory "/wordpress", his htaccess was messed up and it was a phpBB3-related issue, so if you have other software running, you may want to check that out as well.

That's all I could think of, sadly. Sad These guys would know better, though. Of course, it could also just be a server issue [though I highly doubt that it is].

I haven't done any of the things you have mentioned in your post.

It was working a few days ago, and I haven't done anything that would affect the system.

This is perplexing...

As darvit said, try asking at the wordpress support forums, they help you almost instantly..
