Need I say more?
Guyon
Nice addition Andrew426, I actually never heard of them before. Their music is a little rough, but is a perfect additions to this project. Thanks!

I also found a song from the movie "The Lair of the White Worm". In that movie they played a song, "The D'Ampton Worm". It is a great adaptation form the legend of the myth about the Lambton Worm.

I am torn between putting D'Ampton Worm in monsters or soundtracks, possibly even the situations category.

Added:

Monsters:
The D'Ampton Worm - The Lair of the White Worm - Movie (1988)

Artists:
The Misfits
Guyon
Added to the list:

Monsters:
Godzilla - Blue Oyster Cult
(Don't Fear) The Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
NOTE: I once heard a radio interview with - Blue Oyster Cult in which they said that their (Don't Fear) The Reaper song was highly misunderstood. I was written as a love song and NOT about a a monstrous reaper. The song is really about how love will even survive death. Still I am adding it to the list.

Femme Fatail
Cliff Richard - Devil Woman (this is different form the poison song of the name name)
Devil Woman - Poison
Guyon
Added to the list:

A really good friend game the these additions:

Femme fatal:
Devil Woman .. Cliff Richard

Other:
Bat Out of Hell - MeatLoaf
Number of the Beast - Iron Maiden
Devil's Gate Drive - Suzy Quantro
Ozzy Osbourne Bark at the moon

I know I have Devil Woman by Cliff Richard already but she was the one that reminded me of so I included it again here. That song is also one of my favorite Halloween type songs, so I have no clue how it was neglected from the original list.
Guyon
Added to the list:

Monsters:
Purple People Eater - Sheb Wooley (an oldie but a goody)
Werewolves of London - LeRoy Marinell (how did I miss this, on the original list?)

Femme Fatale:
Rezurex - Devil Woman From Outer Space
I have never heard of this song or group before. But it was so fun I had to add it. Check out their video on You Tube.

Situation:
Sympathy for the Devil - Rolling Stones
A Rolling stone classic (how did I miss this?)

Soundtrack:
Ghostbusters - Ray Parker Jr. (a classic move)
The Time Warp - R. O'Brian (an underground classic move)
How soon is Now? - Love Split Love (The Craft & Charmed)
While this is not exactly a Halloween song it appeared on both the movie The Craft and the television show Charmed. So felt like I had to add this. ..er unless a witch's spell made me? Wink
Guyon
Well I am winding down, I think I have found most of the good rock music that has a Halloween theme.

But will include this piece to the list:

Femme Fatal:
She Knows the Devil - by TOTO
I found this by accident and it fits the list well.
Vampyre Erotica -Inkubus Sukkubus
Heart of Lilith -Inkubus Sukkubus

While I have included the group -Inkubus Sukkubus under Artists/Albums I just had to add the 2 songs Vampyre Erotica, and Heart of Lilith from their Vampyre Erotica CD.
Guyon
Monsters:
Black Sabbath - Ironman

Situation:
Animals - House Of The Rising Sun
Eagles - Hotal California

Other:
Deep Purple - Burn

Femme Fatal:
Temptation Waits - Barbage (from Buffy the vampire Slayer CD)

Instrumental:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Theme - Nerf Herder: Theme opening song to Buffy the vampire Slayer TV show. Not especially Halloween music but hey it is Buffy. LOL

Soundtracks:
Van Helsing - form the move of the same name: This is the sound track to the movie and makes a nice addition to role playing game background combat music.

Artists/Albums:
Vampyre - The Syndicate: There are no vocal on this Cd, so it makes the perfect back ground music for a party or home while passing out candy for Trick or treat.
Guyon
This is my final entry ( I think) LOL. I was looking to basically to make a rock collection of Halloween songs and most of the entries (with a few exceptions) fit into that category. So after about a week of searching I am done with this project. I will check back on occasion to see if there are any posts or additons.

I truly hope you find this list helpful.

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!!!!!
Guyon
As Halloween drawn near I found this on radio and was shocked it was not added much sooner.

Other:
AC/DC Hells Bells

Happy Halloween!!!
Shewolf
Mmm.. a "song" called Hymn to Pan should be added, if you're able to find a decent recording. Just because it's a very "occult" lyric Wink
Guyon
I will look for that Shewolf, see if my music service has it. Thanks for the suggestion!

***

Just when you thought I was done with this list a buddy told me about this song:
Tenacious D's "Tribute", or unofficially, "A Tribute to the Best Song in the World"

Synopsis

The song chronicles the band members' encounter with a demon who demands the duo play "the best song in the world" or have their souls devoured. Having nothing to lose from trying, they "play the first thing that came into [their] heads" and it "Just so happened to be / The best song in the world."

The video is supposed to be very good too ( I have not seen it myself), but it was the most requested video on Kerrang! TV in 2002. A cross between "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" and "Stairway to Heaven". So it sounds very interesting.

Situation:
Tribute - Tenacious D

I will keep this list open until October 31st.
