In-Game Recording

My Software:
Windows Movie Maker 2
FRAPS
Quick Screen Recorder 1.5 aka qsr
Sony Vegas 8
Virtual Dub

Out of all that, I can't manage to make a good quality decent sized video for my clan. Ok so qsr produces good quality video but the output graphically lags. FRAPS produces under barely average quality video but sometimes lags when recording which also shows up in the output. Sony Vegas 8 can produce good quality output but big file sizes. Windows Movie Maker outputs at a decent size but average quality.

Here is a capture of a video sort of like what I want to make. It goes for 2:44 minutes and is 106mb. I don't know what software they used but it must be pretty good. Any suggestions?

Trie to use Sony Vegas to make the video and convert it with a video converter to a better format (some thing you like). I like to use SUPER when converting video. Free! Cool

you can just use vegas and then cut out the video you want, and discard the rest. this is a good way to make montages, if that is what you are doing.
