Have you ever imagined a statement officially by a govet where in the existance of God is denied
I an yet to come across a statement made catagorically by ant govt even I guess communist countries that God does not exist
In a recent statment the chief minister of the Southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu said that Ram did not exist and there is no historical evedence for it
But he was the one who banned Da vinci code in his state
Does that mean that Jesus has a clear historical record
In my academic and wen searches I have never come across any historoically indisputable proof of the existance of Jesus
The polititial in Tmail Nadu was just playing agame to woe votes!

There are people who try to explore that fact some of the ones that I have heard about end up becomming Christians themselves.

It is quite generally a bad idea for government and religion to every mix, as it is a very unstable
cocktail. It is hard to find a smoking gun that hasn't been fired in ~2 millennia.
