Some time ago I used some software, in a language lab, that protected PCs by taking a snapshot of the operating system and restoring it every time the PC was either switched on or someone new logged on. It meant that any viruses, etc, users had downloaded were instantly wiped out and every user started with a clean slate. IIRC users could be allocated a folder that was not overwritten so they could store their own files without destruction.
It would be useful to protect a PC that someone keeps trashing.
Can I remember what the software was called?
Can I *&^*&"%£((!!.
Any ideas, anyone?
