I'll be honest. The whole mime thing has always freaked me out a little.
However, for that he probably deserves more respect. If you can convince people to enjoy mime then there's a talent worthy of respect!

I take my hat off to any entertainer who can remain popular for most of their lives. Even Ken Dodd. They clearly have a skill and charisma that makes them stand out from the crowd - something few modern entertainers will achieve.
Marcel Marceau had the only spoken line in Mel Brooks' Silent Movie.
