I'm running ubuntu feisty with a nvidia card. I got compiz-fusion to work but it seems that anti-alias is not working as expected. The desktop cube has jaggy edges although I have set the anti-alias settings to "Override application settings." with 16xQ via Nvidia X-server Settings.
After searching around for solutions, I've managed to enable it by executing nvidia-settings -l and by restarting compiz after that. However, I find it tedious to retype the same command on every startup just to enable anti-alias. Therefore, I added a startup entry and the command entered was nvidia-settings -l > /dev/null. But, it just wouldn't load. Why is it so? Is there any other way to make nvidia-settings startup?
