Seven facing jail over barbaric dog fight

newso
Seven men are facing jail after being convicted of one of the bloodiest and most barbaric dog fights ever discovered.

Police raided a kitchen showroom to find two pit bull terriers on the verge of death after spending around two hours relentlessly ripping into each other.

The RSPCA said there was a worrying increase in dog fighting amongst gangs of young men.

Twenty six men were convicted over the fight in Alum Rock, Birmingham, last February, which pitted the dogs, Elvis and Bullet, against each other.

Graphic video footage taken during the fights shows the dogs' owners encouraging them to fight by shouting and clapping.

Of the 10 found guilty, five were fined between £750 and £1,400 for attending the fight while five others, all Asian men from the Birmingham area, were found guilty of more serious offenses.

I THINK THEY SHOULD ALL BE PUT INTO A PIT OF DOGS AND LET THEM CHEW AWAY AT THE SICK B@***S

That should be the punishment for people who fight dogs. One round in the pit with the dogs.

We would see who was so tough then. Cowardly scum don't deserve to live anyway.

The fines were nowhere near big enough.

I'm quite sure they'd have been winning (or losing) far more than this, routinely, in gambling on each fight session.

Very pleased they were caught. Very disappointed that their punishment wasn't severe enough.
