Preseason is starting up, the regular season is right around the corner. Is anyone else getting excited? I can't wait to see the Sabres on the ice again. I'm looking to watch them prove anyone wrong who said they won't be good without Briere or Drury...
NHL time
I'm looking forward to watching the Senators play again, though I am not liking their new jerseys. They have a perfect record in the pre-season so far. Hopefully they can keep it up in the regular season 
Thank God!! This is my favorite time of year for sports. Football is in full swing, the baseball playoffs, and hockey gets going.
BTW - you see that dude from PHI got suspended 20 games for that nasty hit that will probably end McAmmond's career? No call for that in the game. I'm all for rough stuff, but that's just cheap all around.

Cheap shot indeed. McHammond will be fine, hopefully. I know he's had concussions before, but hopefully he'll recover from this and play again. Rough stuff and fighting is wonderful, and I love it, but cheap hits like that don't belong in hockey. Just like the crosscheck across the jaw the Vancouver Canuck player took. He's lucky he wasn't injured worse.
Ottawa is doing splendidly so far! A mere 4 losses in 20 games soon to be 21 games in a few minutes. Top of the league. The 4 games they lost were ones where they didn't play well at all; they weren't really close.

We are a quarter into the season and my rangers are 1st in their division so its all good. Lundquist is looking really good.

One of the few things in sports, the Detroit Red Wings. I've always been a fan of them basically because my dad grew up there and is, and they haven't missed the playoffs since I was 1. They are again playing well, tied for the most points in the NHL, although they have played one more game than the sens. Also, I like to see the sens do well because their AHL team is in my town and even though the B-Sens (binghamton sens) are really bad, I still remember when some of the Senators stars now like Spezza played here so thats cool.

I like the Red Wings and I still know that Montreal have NO change to win against them.. They will probably win the cup this year or atleast the second place. I'm a big fan of Montreal but they still suck, they have a good rank but I can't say that they are good.. They don't even try to play and if they win, it's because they have two good goalers and a lot of luck.. Only one thing to say.. GO HABS GO!!

I like that after the horrendous 7-game losing streak the Sens were on, they were still at least 6 points ahead of the second place team in their conference. I just hope to heck they don't have a losign streak like that again.
