(Yes! I know I have a negative 84 points... I got fired from my job at our local sod farm and had to end my internet service until I got on my feet again. Now it's all good though. PLEASE FORGIVE ME FRIH ADMINS! I'm Sorry! >,<)

Well.. Me and my friends have been debating on whether or not we reincarnate, or go to heaven, or rot in the ground. Physics theories clearly state that matter and energy CANNOT be destroyed and have to change and transmute. So, when we die, our energy doesn't dissapear, it simply changes. That almost proves we have souls. And if all the billions upon billions of souls in the world that had died, became energy, then that would mean almost the whole universe would be backed up with non-physical energy. Right?

So this non-physical energy has to go somewhere, right? That's where Heaven comes in. Now I can't believe in christianity because it seems to appeal to what everyone wants, and what everyone has been teaching since history began; "be good and eat your dinner and you'll get rewarded with dessert". Now this dessert is give to you, and since the taste will last longer than dinner, and it normally tastes better it appeals to you, it makes you eat dinner. Right?

Well.. Reincarnation appeals to very few people. I hate life, I am one of the most pessemistic people on earth. Life is a chore to me. So I can only assume that reincarnation exists because it seems much more real in a religious sense. After all, almost every psychic I know believes in reincarnation.

What is your opinion? And state YOUR opinion, not your religon's opinion.

The only problem i have in reincarnation is that people say 'oh, i am the reincarnation of.....' and they have no proof. If when you are (supposedly) reincarnated, you forget about your previous life, how do you know that you have actually been reincarnated.

I think i have an easier time accepting the idea of heaven. This is probably because i have a slightly more optimistic view of life, and so i can understand that you would go to a 'better place' when you die.

I suppose i would have to take an agnostic stance (my way of staying out of the argument Very Happy ). I'm a very analytical kind of person, i like to have proof that something exists before i can believe in it. If that fails, i go with my gut instinct.

I agree with you. However I have proof in my own head. I don't expect anyone to believe me, because it's proof from first hand experience. I've seen the memories in my head.

I don't think I was anyone special, I don't care who I was. I don't even care if I was anybody. I just know that I was reincarnated, because of the proof and gut instinct.

Everyone has a right to what they believe though.

I like your opinion. I also agree that there are groups of liars out there all telling eachother of how they are the reincarnation of Pharoh Cleopatra. And jeeze it's annoying >,<

yeah i've heard of some real dumb people who claim they're the reincarnation of a famous person thats not actually dead.
I think someone claimed to be johnny cash when he was still alive.
It IS annoying.
I personally think that it could be either one of them and i am taking the budhist approach and not believing in either one of them. I will use my common sense to choose one when i have sufficient evidence myself.

That's signs of being an intelligent individual, and those are rare nowadays.

But wow, I can't believe someone claimed to be Johnny Cash when he was still alive Laughing

Budhists believe in reincarnation. When the Diha(sp) Lamma dies years are spent looking for the reincarntaion of him.

I believe in reincarnation. I don't belong to a religion which believes in heaven, but I do believe in the Otherworld where we go when we die in this world and stay until we are reincarnated back into this world. When we have learnt all the things we are meant to learn we go to a higher world. Some spirits then choose to return to this world as a spirit guide, in order to guide someone in their journey.
