I have this problem quite frequently while using Digital cameras.
Recently, I bought a Samsung 8.2 MP digital camera (Model - L83T)
, and happily tried to use it to replace my my Fuji Z3 camera (5 MP).
While testing out the camera, I realised that the actual object's color and the color of the image on the LCD is world of a different!
I do a color adjustment on the camera (Red color mode) and gets alot closer to the original object color, but still a noticeable different.
There is a custom color, where I can adjust using Red/green/blue (RGB), I set the Red to max, green as no adjustment, and blue 3 notch into the negative range.
The result does improved, but still noticeable, on objects that are red, golden colors.
Pink also appeared less pink than the actual.
The camera MP is good, but the color tone is quite bad.
Any suggestion on this issue of camera color verses the actual object color.
I came to a conclusion that when I buy a digital camera, it is liken to old days of chossing your types of brand film rolls (E.g. Kodah, Konica, etc) - because the image processor's quality is similar to the brand of film rolls.
Help welcome, if I can overcome the limitation on my new Samsung L83T - st times I wish I could sell it off - but then I am just passing the frustration to someone else, or to thr innorance of someone else. It is best if I can resolve this. Many thanks.
