PHP5!

infobankr
I just read that PHP5 is installed on server 3 here at frihost. That's great, I've been using PHP5 for awhile now and in my opinion it is a big improvement over php4. For me, the biggest improvement is the new XSL module, while there are a bunch of other important improvements.

Here are some good PHP5 libraries:

Yes, PHP 6.0 is coming, just download a snapshot source or win32 bin.

And php5 upgrading are greating for the hosting service.
But I do think that the OOP function isn't consisent yet.

I don't want to upgrade so soon, I'd like PHP5 and MySQL4. If frihost upgrade mySQL4 to 5, i'm afraid that it does not support gbk_chinese_ci.

If it does't support gbk_chinese_ci collation and charset.
You could have you data work with utf-8 charset.
So it could display correctly.

But upgrade mysql is much harder than php.
Because it involve a large amount of db and it's data.
