MONITORS! Can anyone recommend a solution?

I'm looking for new monitors for my Presonus Firebox.

I've been eyeing the Blue Sky MediaDesk and maybe Genelec 8030 or Blue Sky Prodesk.

Also I'm not sure how I should audition them.

What are your suggestions, what do you use?

Is there a particular price range you're looking into? Passive, or active? How long are you hoping to hang onto them for?

For passive monitors, any of the monitors in the Tannoy Precision series are brilliant (if you have the money, that is). Best near-fields I've ever used.

Yes it would be useful to have an idea of your budget.
My favorite are the BM15A Dynaudio. They are very impressive. Their price is aboiut 2000 euros for the paire.

I think I will opt for Dynaudio BM5a's I found a good price for them and I just want to get it over with!
I've read good reviews for the bm5a's.
