Hi

I would like to make a form that keeps the response the user inputs..In other words the page grows as people add their comments. I would use php to do this.

I would eventually like only people who have logged onto my site to be able to do this.

Hey, To do this with PHP the best way is to use a database also. To do it you will need to create a database and then a table in it called "comments" or whatever you like. On the page that displays the comments you will need to run a sql query into the database to retrieve the comments and display them and you will need another script to process the the information inputted by the user and insert the users input into the database.

I do not know how well you know PHP and MySql databases or the Sql language so if what I wrote above was no help please post back and I will try and create a script for you in my free time but I am currently coding 2 sites and a user management system but I will try.

there are many shoutbox scripts on hotscripts.com also and u can surely make one using PHP and mySQL and ya don't forget to add a pinch of AJAX too
