Well, let's see... I didn't find a more fitting category for this, so I will post it here.
I am a theatre lighting designer and curious to know if there are any more of us out there on these boards. Currently, I'm doing my thing at a themed events company, but really looking to try to get back into an actual theatre. Interestingly, I got my first degree in acting, then dance, then thought "I will need a job" so went into design. Hmm... irony for ya.
Anyway... thought I'd say hi to y'all.
I do quite a bit of graphics work too, so I guess I'm not too far off from the topic of the category.
For those of you who DO design, what programs do you use, if any? I am primarily an old-school hand drafter, but have been known to use Vectorworks. For rendering, I tend to use a combination of Vectorworks and Cinema 4D.
