palavra
thank you i don't need.
but i wan't to ask a question.
hebrew and arabic are similar to each other or not?
johanfh
Hebrew and Arabic are not similar. They don't even have the same alphabet. However, there are similarities between the grammar of the two languages. So if you can read Hebrew and the Arabic alphabet and you use a good dictionairy you might be able to understand some pieces of arabic texts. (And sometimes words look the same, but with different vowels. For example 'slm' has become sala'am (peace) in arabic and shalom in Hebrew (peace)).

i think not having the same alphabet is not a big problem. In ussr time we turks of central asia were using russian alphabet, but still can communicate easily with us.(turks of turkey)

One of my friends who speaks arabic told me when he visited israil he thought hebrew and arabic are very similar to each other.
