"Head for the barricades movie"

"Extreme Films 2.0 teaser"

I solved it in Flash CS3, but I think you can do the same in 8.

Inside flash..

Window - Components - Video - FLVPlayback

Open your Parameters for the FLVPlayback, go to ContentPath, klick it and upload your video.. resize it and play with the settings and size so it fits your needs..

I hope this works for you, it did work in CS3.
