In my DxDiag, it says that AGP Texture Acceleration is not available. I have an ATI x1960 Pro 512MB in an AGP slot. SmartGart has FastWrite enables, but when I enable AGP write, AGP read, PCI write, and PCI read, I restart the computer and the settings return to the off position. Why is that happening?

hmm, you're talking about 3 different things: AGP Texture Acceleration, FastWrites, AGP write, AGP read, PCI write, and PCI read , take some screenshots or precize.
