I have just finished installing a phpbb forum into thr direct domain system provided to me by Frihost and the forum is still in its development stage...I wish to add some of my friends who register into the forum as the moderators of the forum...How can i add them as moderators..? After becoming the moderators will they have access to the administration panel...?What all more can the moderators can do in the forum than the normal users....?
Adding members as moderators
Its simple. Go to your admin control panale and go down to permissions. Type in the user and hit next. From there click on all the categories you wish your friends to moderate.
And no they don't have access to teh ACP

make a new account and make that mod first. You can login using that account and find out what functions your friends will be able to use.
