Welcome to FriHost. When I first read your post I was surprised at your young age but I think I started using computers at about your age or maybe a year or two earlier. The big difference is that 2,400Kb/s modems were not even mainstream yet. The Internet was not used by home users. We did not even have bulletin board services yet.
