Opening a weblink in Visual Basics 6

gibbo
Hi i need help with my program, i would like to open a web link from my vb application to open up into a web browser such as internet explorer. so if some one has any source code or tips i would be very greatfull.
Trickster
What I did was making a label with the name of the website, and when the label was clicked it uses the ShellExecute function to open.

First declare the function in the general section of your form.
Code:
Private Declare Function ShellExecute Lib "shell32.dll" Alias "ShellExecuteA" (ByVal hwnd As Long, ByVal lpOperation As String, ByVal lpFile As String, ByVal lpParameters As String, ByVal lpDirectory As String, ByVal nShowCmd As Long) As Long

Then you use this code as the trigger to use the ShellExecute function to open the specified website:
Code:
ShellExecute 0, vbNullString, "http://www.goldtouch.frih.net", vbNullString, vbNullString, vbNormalFocus

Hope the information is usefull Wink
