Sounds like she's pretty good. For those who didn't read, she made him some sort of treasure trail, or some light hearted game, and then surprised him with a painting.

as for making up a girlfriend? why would a person do that either? i just don't get it.

You should make direct links to your blog posts in your forum posts. Or else it is impossible to know what you are talking about. And we have to look in the archive on your blog to try to find the right blog post by forumpost date.
I kinda expected it to be predictable, more of a cliche- but the painting is pretty good. You've got a creative girl there.
