help with a program

i habe downloaded a program for making the configurations of my call of duty 2 serves, but i dont know how to use it, when i have all the configurations done, it ask me if i want to save them, i say yes and it creates a .cfg file, what do i have to do with that file?
i don't habe acces to the name of the program right now, as soon as i habe i will add it

Although I'm not to familiar with Call of Duty itself, I believe that when you save the .cfg file, you'll either upload it to your server with the rest of the server files so that your server will starting using the configurations in the .cfg you created upon restart or upon when you call for that file.
