Can I make subdomains on my localhost? {RESOLVED}

Since I began running my own home server for testing, I've never been happier ^_^. So I can use Apache 2.2.4, and I got PHP 4, PHP 5, PHP 6, and Perl installed myself (as well as ImageMagick, etc). But I guess my real question is, would it be possible (using Apache Server Config files) to create subdomains (like test1.localhost, etc)? It would really save me some time.
