just getting into php development, have done M$ dev for a while, been developing for 15 years, 10 years as my job

been looking into mysql too, mainly done sql server (2000 & 2005), with some oracle, did some Paradox way back when

been doing alot of asp.net and sql server development for the past 4 years
some java, oracle and even ruby on rails recently, although the vb6 that got thrown in there wasn't too bad, but just glad it didn't last too long

any hints/tips/suggestions/jokes will be appreciated (about php and mysql dev)
other than development, I enjoy sports, mainly follow the University of Utah football and basketball, they generally do really well in gymnastics too. Don't much care for the Utah Jazz, the local AFL team is fun to watch, the Utah Blaze. I like to get outside as often as I can, whether it's camping or just out for a hike. I also enjoy travelling to somewhere I've never been. We go to southern California alot to see family. But keeps me busy, gotta pay the bills and gotta have money to travel (especially when the wife and kids come along), flying is getting expensive, driving isn't bad, just depends on how far you're going.
