How often do you check mails.

I am working on a project and for which i need some records. A random sample of 100 person's stats would be sufficient but for accuracy i need more participants. Please participate in this Poll.

I look frequently when I am online but other days when I not can find a computer I never check so it depends very much.

Well my hotmail i automaticlly check when i open messenger and that once per day. (MY mail)
My frih mail is most for clan purposes so i ain't checking it that much maybe 2-4 days per week.

on my computer, i use poptray. it check every 5 mins. also, i use push mail with my PDA, so basically i check my mail about 288 time a day.

I normally check my email whenever i go on the internet, so it depends on how often i go on (or when i can remember).

I don't normally go on to just check my emails, unless i am waiting for a particular email from someone, or urgently need to send an email.

So probably 3-4 times a week, sometimes more.

I check my email frequently everyday. I also eave a notifier on when I navigate to other pages so I know whenever I get new mail.

I check my mail a few times a day when I'm at home. I have no trouble with not checking my mail for days if I go away for the weekend or something.

I also have my e-mails on my mobile, where I download the "headers" (subject, "from", date and size) once an hour during the day (08-23). I usually do not download any mails on the mobile, unless they seem very important or interresting.

But i checks my email whenever i am online..but i do not check my emails on all of my accounts..That i only check emails of my primary or important mail ids.....

Normally, I check my email box every day unless I'm away, this is first thing I do when online, but not all of messages I read, for messages from whom that I never known or never dealt with, I then click delete immediately.

My thunderbird is on the whole day so .... I am not checking my mails only between 6pm to 10:30 pm else anytime

I check my e-mails every day, I could get around 6 e-mails a day, which does not include spam or junk.

I usually check my email several times a day as I work, every time I sign up for a subscription acct. I usually check for the reply link as soon as I get to it, like 5 or 10 minutes after I sign up, I also check my email the first thing when I log on and right before I sign off, so I can get a to do list for the next day. Email is probably the next most used item on my computer next to my browser and maybe Synaptic and my terminal.

I check my google account every half an hour, and just once/month the other 5... To access gmail it takes me a few seconds. I'm using Opera which has fast dial (shortcut keys) so I only type "4" (which is google.com) <enter> , click on "gmail" and that's it. To access my frihost mail I have to: login to direct admin from domain.tld:2222 and the login to squirrel webmail.

My Yahoo... i check it occasionally when I remember, because I'm on some mailing list there. I rarely open my gmail though, unless I want to send some large files, or have them sent to me.

I don't check my uni email all that often too XDDD;
mostly i'm just dreading getting some important email, tho i know that'd just get me into more trouble XDDD

It depends. Some days I don't care about it but I can't be too much lazy (let's see that mail). It depends if I've got tasks that require every-day checking or not.
Weekends? Rarely. The other days: Some yes, some no.

I use a Mozilla Thunderbird with Gmail so if one comes while I am at my computer I look at it. If I am not at my computer then it must wait. Laughing

I don't check my hotmail, actually it checks itself. I have it set to alert me via text message if I have received a email, and if I am not on MSN. It is actually very convenient because when you're at school you're unable to get onto computers during classes, so it sends me a little reminder. Smile

If not, I have Windows Live Mail running all the time, so if I am online I get alerted that way. I would use Thunderbird, but I don't believe it's ready yet for email, as I hate how to puts all email into one email inbox.

Every day. I enter Opera and my gmail box checks automatically with it, and my personal box checks with The Bat!.

I just have Mail open, set to check my e-mail every 5 minutes - it used to be open almost constantly, but now I just check it a few times a day, having taken the time to realise that it actually does have a small but cumulative impact on the download limit.
