I have noticed throughout my life that because a person is a certain religion they believe that gives them the right to spit on others of a religion that they know nothing about. I know for a fact that Jews and Islams are used as the butt of all jokes now it seems.
Why is it that Christians are not used as the butt of all jokes?
Is this because Christians think that their religion is THE religion?
Was it not Jews in the first place that God chose to be his people?
Why are Islams so frowned upon now?
Just because one Islamic person made a crude act toward the American society, does that give us all the right to look down on them as an inferior religion/society/culture?
Did anyone know that is was the Christian religion that first used the pentagram? Yes? No?
Then why do they choose not to believe that it was them in the first place who used the pentagram, why do they choose to put Wiccans down by telling them their "witchcraft" and un-holy demonic symbols (pentagram) are not right in this world?
I myself don't know at this point what to believe in, religion wise, but I do believe there is 1 greater being in this Universe. But even though I am apart of no religion does not mean I do not understand what it means to be religious and what it means to have faith.
I'm honestly sick and tired of hearing people joke around about others religions and cultures. I'm sick and tired of going to school and having to listen to some punk make fun of some other guy/girl for being a Jew or being Arabic or being Islamic.
We are Americans.
As the Declaration of Independence states..
"Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal."
ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. We Americans are made up of many different cultures and religions and yet we still bicker and jest and fight over whats right and whats wrong. WE still choose to ignore the simple fact that, although men were created equal in the eyes of God, they still have their own beliefs. We Americans dare cross other countries borders to tell them that what they are doing is wrong and uncivil and yet we sit here fighting amongst ourselves in an animal like manner, telling each other whats right and wrong.
I see no liberty and justice in all this.
I made this post in frustration of having to walk around town, watch T.V, read posts about people clowning on others because they think that what someone else believes is right...is wrong. I honestly don't care what you think and whether you are offended but what I have said or not.
THIS is what I believe, like it or not folks, all men and women were created equal, live with it.
