I want to learn php programming.How can i do so.Where to get ebooks on php for free??Please guide me.Presently i know html only.Will it help me??

The hudzilla one is a published book also but he has made it available online for free. It is not exactly the same as the print version cos I think he added some extra examples etc. so that people would actually buy it.

But the online version is very helpful. It's well written and brings you from novice to fairly competent in a short space of time. Once you have the hang of it you will then have the confidence to browse through the advanced function lists for what you need.

Checkout PHP and MySQL For Dummies at your local library. It's really good.

I used both of those to learn.
