Hello everyone!
I have been considering a new laptop for college. Because I want it to last for the rest of my undergraduate work (about three years), I would like to invest in something that will last me awhile. I was considering a Dell, owing to their cheap prices; however, a friend told me that they no longer make quality laptops. According to him, the best brands to try would be HP/Compaq or IBM/Lenovo.
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas, tips, personal experiences, etc. that would help me in making a good purchase. I would especially appreciate hints on what to avoid, because I have had a plethora of computer issues in the past after purchasing.
Your advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
