but at the same time the browser work perfectly on the internet... i can suft the net.. download stuff too...
any idea how this happen??
do i need to do something with my configuraton to able me to play all those mmorpg???
sounds like you need to port forward used ports on this mmorpg and/or turn off your router's security features. the game's server could be down too...

what is a port forward and how does it work??
how to turn of the router security feature??... (the server location still is a myth)....
Are you on a campus or business network? If so, there may be a firewall preventing acess to the needed port.
If you are attempting to connect via a home network, then you may need to configure your router.

What kind of router do you have?
Port forwarding is this...
Your router blocks connections on certain ports, when you port forward, you basically open those connections. Your router should have an admin page.
If your router is a linksys try typing in your browser's address bar, http://192.168.1.1/
user blank pass admin
If it isn't tell me what kind of router you have.

Thanks pal...
but the problem is that i never seen it router...
the only thing i see is the lan cable socket (Hub) which are extension only...
the original ... never been seen...
i have tried.. the http://192.168.1.1
but i cant get in...
May be Your system admin or ISP provider can help you obtain those informations like router type etc. Also check for the proxy.Your browser may be configured with that but the game may not.The same thing happened to me with Yahoo messenger.I needed to configure the proxy value for that.
If you are not the network administrator, you won't be able to access the server or router to change the port forwarding settings. Usually for me, I can join online games without modifying the port forwarding thing, but the problem is that I can't host any games.
Sob..sob...
T.T
Thanks...
