then how that domain got pagerank 2?

Maybe that site was recently penalized or its rankings dropped dramatically. Google toolbar Page Rank takes a long time to update but getting penalized by Google has an immediate effect. Also, are you absolutely sure the domain is not listed in Google for anything? Did you do a search for the domain name? Even that is not conclusive. I once had a site that was nowhere to be found in Google when I punched in the domain name but I was still ranking for some popular keywords.
