now vista comes with bootmgr... will you please tell me any one how to edit bootmgr... like we edit boot.ini...

I find that by far the easiest way to edit the BCD is to use a freeware program called Vista Boot Pro.
You can find it here: http://www.vistabootpro.org/
For more advanced stuff you may need to use the previously posted reference to edit the BCD from command line, but VBP does most of the stuff you will likely need. I'll never understand why Microsoft didn't include some sort of gui interface for the boot manager.
