Hi all.
I am making a website about a greenhouse.
The site is in Spanish. Its ok, you dont need to understand what it says.
I just need some design tips about how I could make the site better.

Why does the navigation uses flash. This is not good, that is really really bad acctualy...

You could 1)

Use text links

2)

Use an Image map instead.

Both those are so much better.

Let's start with this:

Who is the aim for this page?

What can you demand of them?

Is the information they want easy to get with one click?

You should have a one click rule, or at most three clicks...

First off, I like your color choices and overall page layout. The only thing I didn't find visually appealing is the white boxes with your graphic's in them, especially on the page with the trees where you didn't have enough images to fill the space. You might also consider playing with the solid green backgrounds they are a little boring in some places. You might try adding some faint graphic or extend your fade a little further, it just needs a little something else back there to add more visual interest. It seems like you are not too concerned with interface, but I thought you should know I had to click on your header multiple times to get the buttons to activate. Other than that it looks like you are on the right path as far as design and the overall look. Good Luck, I hope that helps.

Consider a different background color for the text, (ie still have the green background, but have a white box for your text) because right now the text contrast is not the greatest. I do like the yellow logo, maybe carry it over into a similar footer? Good luck with the design.

It isn't just usability it is estetics... The goal of the estetics for your page probably isn't that you will find it attrative, but that people will say wow a page about um Plants and horticulture or what it is about.

Anyway your colors are rather strong and as mentioned before your text and background isn't optimized.

(And on the same note as before, don't have links to not finished things on your homepage. Just put it there when its finnished. (Fotos))

I think a footer is a grate idea... and youre right about text contrast..
Im considering a background for the text. should work fine.

Are the flah buttons SO bad???
I already included all the buttons so I dont have to edit the flash again, (im lazy Smile )
