RALEIGH, N.C. - If someone offers you frilly women's lingerie on the street, call police. Thieves have stolen almost $35,000 worth of underwear, perfume and other merchandise from Victoria's Secret stores in the Raleigh area since March, police said. Law enforcement officials have no suspects and said it's unlikely the thieves are stealing for personal use.
A store in the Triangle Town Center in Raleigh reported nearly $20,000 in missing merchandise between March and June, while stores in Durham and Cary reported losses of almost $13,000 and $4,000, respectively.
The thieves seem to work in groups of three, with one person distracting a store clerk while the other two stuff bags with bras, underwear and other items, police said. |
Comcast.net Strange News.
Now that is an interesting way to make some money. Selling Victoria secret Style undies and selling them
(o.O) ... firstly I don't think anyone would want to buy undies and bras from people off the street. You don't know where they come from or where its been. I wonder what happened to those lable detectors at the entrance and CCTV cameras since those inner garments and other accessories must cost a bomb. 35K can likely buy a truck load of 'unbranded' ones. Interesting news....
My guess is they'll be selling them on ebay not the street.
I am with the person above me....it's much more likely that they're selling on ebay than on public streets haha...
haha but still... would you buy undies from e-bay?
hahah that is a good question! what's worse, the street or ebay? I think I prefer to buy my underwear from the store... but then, who says no1 can have been doin weird stuff with it in the store?? o_O

LOL... the idea doesn't make a difference..
Okay. Well, I just want to tell everyone NOT to buy underwear on the streets. Who knows what has been done to them? I just wanted to give everyone this warning, but I definitely have never bought underwear from someone off the street... :: itches crotch ::
I ain't buying undies on the street, nor on EBAY. We didn't know if where this come from, or is this clean. There's also a possibility that this things were used. You wouldn't wear undies which was used by a person other than you? are you?
Yuck!
I'd with everyone else here.
I'd much rather buy my undies from a proper shop.
Does Miss Vicky's have dressing rooms?
If they do, even the stuff off the rack may have already been tainted.

Yah right, better spend more for quality than suffer the consequences of used things.
There's very little that anyone could do with used knickers that a washing machine couldn't undo.
