depends on what you want on it.
Use similar color sceme to forums and beyond that, its your imagination that will make it a good sig image!!

Read the Tutorials forum, there're a tons of great tutorials about how to make a sig in different progs.
Read also the Filmmaking and Graphics forum. It can also help.

It's not too difficult (though I'm far too lazy to do one myself), just read some tutorials and feel free to play around with the settings to make one that you like.

I vote against images in sigs... just clutters up the forum.

i personally disagree. I think they add colour to the forums but i prefer smaller ones because the larger ones are quite annoying.

I didn't know this topic was about voting against images. Even if it where, I don't think images in sigs are completley clutter, just the big ones

dwikristiano, you can make yourself some nice images for your sig using Photoshop. There are plenty of tutorials in the Tutorials forum.
You can also hire someone from the marketplace to make one for you, and pay them some amount of FRIH$.
