Installing files for East Asian languages on XP Pro.

I'm trying to set my computer up for typing/displaying Chinese characters and am having a bit of trouble. I can get into the Languages bit of the Control Panel, tick the relevant box and press 'OK', but the computer is asking me to insert the 'Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 CD', which I was never given with my computer (although I do have CD 1). The files are supposed to be on this disk in 'i386\lang'. Can I obtain the contents of Service Pack 2 online for free? How thence would I go about getting it all set up?

A pre-emptive 'thank you' for your help.
