I agree with you, I love playing the game. If you want me and you can play some time, add my account ChosenOne05. Any ways moving on, rune scape is a fighting game, where you can do player killing, build up skills, get random events, earn money trade with others so you can get money. Wood cutting is one of the best way to earn money on the game for free 2 play players. Im personaly a merchant, sure it may be harder but after a while your money builds up alot, and I mean alot.
Add my main lv 85. O wait 86 now, just lved hp with range. 1226 total lv, 137 quest points, wields dragon, like 5 mil in money, gets in all guilds besides legends (fishing, prayer, crafting, heroes, champions... alll).
I just invested in a santa hat yesterday for 4 mil because i notice the price is going up.
Damn runescape players! Runescape sux! Let it burn in hell!
And now for some reasons:
1. A game ment for 3rd graders but is screwed up by college aged people playing it and rasing the price on everything greatly
2. The only people that I know that play it are outcasts, goths, Ub3r G33ks, Posers and people that really dont have a life
3. There are better and higher quality RPGs out there on the net.
Its good for about the first 5 minutes but then it sux. (I played it, search Lockwolf and I'm on there)
And now for some counter arguments..
1] Great. When you get the proof that this game was made for "third graders" I'll be happy to know it. How's the fourth grade going for you anyway?
2] It's nice that you know goths, outcasts, Ub3r Geeks and Posers and people that don't really have a life are people you know. Are there really over three million goths, outcasts, Ub3r Geeks and Posers and people that don't really have a lives out there? Possibly.. but concentrated in one place?
Also what self respecting goth conforms and plays an online game..
3] So tell me of some better and higher quality RPG games out there that have the qualitites of runescpae. Namely free to paly, no client software and of course, large volumes of players and the ability to play on any connection speed?
If you made it into the highscores only playing for five minutes. And you even made it to real gameplay in 5 minutes you are a genius player and should be rewarded.
The main reason why I don't like runescape is the amount of hackers the game has.
I had a really high level char (specialised in mining (sad i know)), which was hacked. I later created another char and I noticed my old char was online!...
Anyway, Runescape is a better mmorpg than games such as ROSE Online because it has a more well developed storyline. There are also many more features in the game.
If you can afford it, the MMORPG to go for would probably have to be WoW or Guild Wars if you also like PvP.
World of Warcraft is great. I just started playign yesterday. Its fun and the graphics are cool. Believe me.. The money spent is worthwhile and you will think urself as a fool to waste time and money other other mmorpgs.
To be honest, Runescape is actually not good for me.
People like me mainly focus on the graphics and gameplay rather than the storyline. An example, Serious Sam 2. I don't really care about the storyline but I just kill the mobs. Will you be playing a 640 x 480 fullscreen game when it's storyline is ultra good?
ROSE online doesn't have a good storyline but its graphics are good and the characters are 3D. Runescape characters are somewhat very "woody". Runescape should develop on the gameplay and the graphics. I know its the best online game in a web browser.
I would only play Runescape if the graphics are improved.
I really want to try WoW (borrowing it off a friend tomorrow!) but the price-tag and the monthly fee keeps putting me off.
I don't think graphics should be a judge of a good game. Gameplay is definitely important but I just don't think that the gameplay of ROSE is much better than Runescape. I really dislike Runescape but I don't think ROSE is much better (although it is in beta). Storyline is the most important thing for any RPGs including MMORPGs because that's what RPG means, role-playing game. And it's hard to role-play if there isn't an interesting storyline with twists and turns or even a sense of direction.
