My Hand Hurts

I think it has something to do with using the mouse for too long.

Where the thumb joins the hand, only in that area - a mild burning sensation on the inside and underside, a bit annoying.

Any advice here? Exercises?

I wonder if Frihost has a resident physician.

Hmmm, this sounds to me it could possibly be the start of a condition known as "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome" some information on it can be found here:

If the symptoms persist I would go and see a doctor. Do you use a gel mouse mat or anything that supports your wrist whilst on the PC?

Well, sometimes my hands hurt if I've been typing for some time, if I don't use that 'wrist pad' thing that attaches to the end of a keyboard (kind of like a slope connecting the edge of the keyboard to the table/desk).

Does your pain involve just typing/mousing-around, or does it happen whenever you do something wrist related?
