New Job, Adult store

I just finished my fisrt day at my new job. I know some people might think I'm crazy,
but I'm really excited because it's at an Adult Store - we sell all kinds of stuff! and it's
a really classy place. I think working in a an industry considered "entertainment"
will be a nice change of pace. The funny thing is, I am not really into porn or adult toys,
I've never even watched a porn film......So yeah...should be interesting...

anyway...I was just curious how many of you may have worked in a simillar industry?

or if you would ever consider it? or absolutely not? why yes? why no?

why ask? because people interest me and you are all interesting people Very Happy

yeah well...I am pretty weird...heh....

It's an AWESOME job though, I totaly love it....

and as for watchin' movies...who doesn't these days?!

if you lived in Oregon I'd tell you to come to my store! we have a great
rental policy, it's only 3.50 per movie.

i'd worked in entertainment field before. as a disco waiter, a karaoke supervisor and aslo a saleman for a entertaiment firm in my country.

i found that working in this kind of environment is cool and exicting as what you mentioned. the working hour is different, the people you meet is different, the foods and drink you take is different, the way you talk and deal is different...a lot of things is so different... perhaps for me!

working in this environment, you 'll get the change to see , the many type of drug, sex, gambling, fighting, drunk, ... etc.

i am new no more in this industri, now, early the morning, i only drink kopi-o (esspresso in other word) Razz

so, mydear! which kind of entertainment industri are you working now?
are your company just selling those sex stuff, like movie, magazine, toys, tools, medicine...? Question

It's not like they rub all over the disk....but I guess I understand what ya mean....

disco waiter? that sounds like fun....

so far this job aint bad...pretty easy and yeah, interesting.

I get 8$ pr/hr, which is better than min. wage -shrugs-

anyhow...we sell mainly apparel, sessy clothes n undies, shoes....and yah, toys,
lubes, cleaning products, movies, games, books, mags.....just about everything.
and there's arecade booths...which are kind crepy but Im getting more used to it...
it's just funny to think here you are at work and some 30 feet away in a booth is
some guy wankin his willy. quite hummorous.

anyway...thanks for your input.... Wink

Sure, I'd consider it.
But, it might be a little awkward if I found myself selling some naughty items to people I know, say like teachers or family friends or family, whatever.
