Looking for a FREE web editor

Hi, I've recently looked at some web editors and I came across a really cool one, NamoEDIT. This does just about everything I would like to do, and much more. Unfortunately I donot need all the features offered, and would like to stick to a free editor, since there are so many of them. Any suggestions?

It depends. Are you looking for WYSIWYG or have you got some coding knowledge already? If you're looking for the fist one, try NVU. Other good editors are HTML-Kit and TSW WebCoder. I've heard Jedit is good too, but I've never tried that. For PHP, I recommend PHPDesigner2005.

I found this one and have been happiy hand coding ever since. I used DreamWeaver for a long time, but CSS made it a pain.
