Croatia is one beautiful country but one island is our favourite in this hot summer time. His name is Mljet. I was there one month and this few images from my camera will tell you much more then words. Mljet is 37 km long and approximately 15 km on North are National Park. This National Park includes two lakes
between Slano
and Pomena
.
On big lake
is small island Melita with church from 12th century.
Sea is very clean and this is small heaven on the earth.
Other places (out of National park) are also very interesting. There is Odysseys cave where you can go in only by swimming or in very small kayak.
Zakamenica is side of Mljet open to Italy. This side is very dangerous and it is not good for swimming but it is special feeling when you see how waves bumping on the rocks.
When is very peaceful time then on some places on open sea side is possible to get nice swimming experience.
