What does everybody think about bears in general. Not any specific type or anything, but just bears.
My opinion would have to be that they are somewhat scary, because there have been a lot of times when they have attacked people. Although sometimes it was not te Bears fault, i still think that it is a little scary. Especially if you are camping in a random area, like not in a protected place or something like that.
post what you think

Think about it this way: when you go camping, you're invading THEIR land, stomping all over THEIR homes, frightening off THEIR prey, possibly doing bad bad stuff to THEIR young, and destroying THEIR ways of life. And you think THEY are scary? Imagine what they must think of us!
Bears have just as much of a right to Earth as all animals (and humans) do, but when we, as humans tend to do, utilize and change land for our purposes, bears tend to get a lil... grumpy. ^_~

Brilliant! Absolutely spot on.
Usually they'll run away from people. The only times you have to worry would be:
1: Getting too close to the cubs. (very, very bad)
2: Having food that they want. (This wasn't a problem until people started feeding them)
Supposing one attacks you, though, just remember this one thing:
Bears can run very fast (as fast or faster than horses), so you'll never outrun one. All you have to do is outrun your friend. You should trip your friend to make sure of this, before he gets the same idea and trips you.
