Good deal?

IS this a good deal? I was at wal-mart looking at the computers and i ran across a lap-top for like 380$
it has 512MB of ram *I can add more*
and the processor is an intel celeron m 440.
(or something like that)
it has wireless built in and it can burn cd's and dvd's
... a 14" screen.
that's all i can remember... but would you consider this a good deal?

To be honest, the deal is good for the quality given. The Intel Celeron is a very low of the range CPU and isn't that good for performance. But other than that it is quite alright but more RAM would be ideal. It all depends what you use the laptop for.

for $380, it's a good deal.

i never heard of notebook's mobo with problem like some low end desktop's mobo. hope it don't have some crappy mobo.

You get these types of deals for stuff which is going to go off the market shelves soon.. A clearance sale which they wont tag as a clearance sale, that is all!
