Flash. Would this be possible?

I wondered if it would be possible to create a flash movie which would stream real audio (.ra or .ram).

If so does anyone know how I would do it?

Im sorry, but you cant, Wav files and Mp3 files are the only thing flash uses... which really needs to be improved on.

You could try converting the Real Audio files (dead format) to mp3s using Total Video Converter ($$$) or SUPER (opensource AFAIK)

actually, you can. But there's a hole lot of pain-in-the-a*s stuff involved. First of all, you need the Macromedia Flash Media Server (it comes with a few build-in codecs & transcoders) and if you really are cocky about the quality, you can use other codecs out there. But, as I said, you'll need the flash media server installed on the Server you host the files on (or on a different one).
