what are everyones thoughts and opinions? I thought it was very exciting and better than in the past, also the homerun derby was terrbible.

If you watched the home run derby on ESPN, you would absolutely hate it. Events that are supposed to be fun like this, but you need a certain announcer who doesn't get on your nerves like Chris Berman. Guys were struggling to get the ball out even in the early rounds.
As far as the game, it was as exciting as it was in years. It was low scoring but an exciting low scoring affair with Ichiro's homer and a a good NL comeback, coming down to the final at bat. As far as the idea of home field advantage being decided by the game, But I digress. A really good game this year.
