Animating with Google SketchUp

defnet
I want to know if there is a way to animate with sketchup. Other then moving cameras I want to move my models. I have made a model in which all components have to move differently.

I dont think that this is going to be easy beacus I fought with this issue for a few days now. Maybe y'all kno a way to import my model into some 3d animating program.

I've had problems with this before, and from experience I can say that it's not pretty on the animation end of things. Your best bet is to use the pro version of it to export your files into some other program that supports animation (like blender). There may be a plugin to support animation natively now, but Sketchup wasn't designed to do that kind of work.

Best of luck though.

i also would recommend to switch to blender, which is the best choise for 3d modelling i belive.

In Sketchup you can only animate the camera, nothing else can be animated.
