Hello everybody...

Anyone can share me free sms server software? I need to send hundreds sms for everyday. I need a software with capability to hide my gsm number.

Check if your ISP has any email to SMS gateway services...

I have designed a school database network for a school project, and one of it's features is to send text messages to parents should there be an emergency like a power cut, or AC failure, etc. and when the school reaches maximum capacity, it will be sending a minimum of 1200 SMS messages.

What my ISP does, is if you create an account with them, they let you send text messages at local rates by e-mail to mobiles. It works out in terms of price as around 300 dhs (40 pounds) to send all these messages, as opposed to 4000-7000 dhs (up to 1000 pounds) for these international services. I just use MS access and Mail Merges with Outlook. Razz

You can send SMS by sending e-mail. For example you can see this site http://www.sendsmsnow.com/ You can send unlimited numbers of sms. You have smtp server.

Please use SMS tools.. this is for linux but it can run on windows using cygwin... I used this with a gsm modem or a mobile phone. the best thing here is the SMS tools is free.

I used this sending almost 1k of messages a day...
