He means "You should not unsubscribe".. Of course anybody can unsubscribe using the links in the email updates you receive..
He asks people not to do so, because it would seem as if you want to subscribe only for the frihsNo just wait a few months, eternity is not required.
You can even move it in your spam box. As long as you cant as a subscriber.
