Coloured image to sketch software

Is there any software that can convert an image to a sketched image. I dont mean to change colour to black and white.
But if you know such software(that makes colour black and white) please tell me its name and URL.

You should definitely take a look at GIMP which is free and does all that you mention. You can convert images to greyscale or work in full colour and apply effects ("filters") that convert normal images into sketches.
