I think that is the only hope for the Republican party in the US this coming election....
I can sort of understand why they want to hurt the USA, but what has the UK ever done to them? Why is the UK having so many attacks? Is it simply because it's easier to attack the UK?

The Republicans are in decline. They've alienated themselves from their party. Look for a big change. Too much government, too much spending, too much ignoring the constituents on issues like the border and spending etc.
ocalhoun, It's hard to say. Ease probably has a lot to do with it. I also believe that since they already have a very large percentage of the population leaning towards the radical form of Islam, they feel they need to solidify their position in England, then they can more easily spread from there.
Indeed, but they do have some good candidates to choose from. If a terror attack were successful before the election, I think it would help the chosen rep candidate. This based simply on the rep vs dem philosophy. One is able to contain warfare while the other cant.

from the attack in scotland,we now know this terrorist are really desperate to get attention,not even letting Brown to feel the sit he has now taken from Blair.
I hope Brown takes the terror attack most seriously and deals with it wisely i support peace any day and hate it when any one dies no matter what the cuase may be,it's so sad that some people don't value the living being on the earth. And to think they are doing this for thier religion i know my faith doesnt move for killing.
